Ways to Donate to the Bannack Association:
There is more than one way you can donate to the many on-going projects that the Bannack Association is working to complete. If you can, financial support is always welcome. Just as important, volunteering your time is also welcome. If you wish to donate to a specific project on this list, please indicate this in your online donation or send an e-mail to otis69337@yahoo.com indicating which project you wish to donate to. Projects:
Rejuvenating the Model A Truck: While the Bannack Association doesn't want to totally restore the Model A, we do have some ideas that can make the Model A more user-friendly during Bannack Days. This includes reparing the exaust system, better benches and possibly restoring the paint job.
Fire Suppressant System: This is a large project that will take a large amount of assistance to complete, but is extremely important for the security and safety of Bannack and the buildings we all love to visit. A sufficient fire system could cost up to $1.2 million to complete, so every idea or donation is welcome.
Ditch: After the flash-flood of 2013 it becamse apparent that a new ditch is needed on the North side of Bannack to better divert flood waters from running through the town.
New roof for the Old Mill: A new roof for the Mill is of absolute necessity to continue giving safe tours to the public and sharing this significant piece of Montana and Bannack history. A new roof for the Mill is estimated at $25,000.
